Social Media Training

Student athletes are required to complete the Social Media for Students course on the NFHS website before participating in any sports.

Instructions

1. Create an account on NFHS.  Click the "register" button on the top right corner of the website. 

2. Type in your information and register for your account.

3. Select the "courses" page after registering.  Search for "Social Media (Elective Course)". 

4. Select "California" and click "order course".  

5. Select "I will be completing this course" and click continue.  

6. Scroll down to "courses in progress" and choose the "Social Media" course.  THE STUDENT must complete the course themselves, although parents can watch too!  

7. After completing the course, you will receive a certificate of completion.  

8. Take a screenshot of the certificate.  

9. Upload the screenshot to HomeCampus (the same page as uploading your physical).  

Q: After I complete a course how do I access my certificate?
A: From your Dashboard, select “My Certificates.” You can then download PDF certificates of all courses completed within the account.
